Q: What insurance do you accept?
A: We accept most insurances. We are providers for VSP, Eyemed, Spectera, MES Vision, and many more. We will be happy to check your benefits and eligibility for you.
Q: Do you have the air puff test?
A: Not here! Our Glaucoma screening will measure your intraocular pressures with the latest technology instrument. It's quick, easy, and painless. WITHOUT the air puff!
Q: Do you do eye exams too?
A: We are not just an optical. Dr. Yap and Dr. Banzuela will perform a dilated examination for a thorough evaluation and prevention of glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, as well as other systemic diseases with symptoms that manifest in the retina (high blood pressure, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, elevated cholesterol, etc).
We will also accommodate any ocular emergencies right away. If necessary, we have trusted ophthalmologists to refer to.
Q: How long will my glasses take?
A: It all depends on your prescription and your insurance plan. We do have an on-site lab that can make your glasses in less than a day...even an hour. Every pair is unique and we'll give you our best estimate when you'll receive the finished product.
Q: Do you have my contacts in stock?
A: We do carry most Acuvue contacts in our inventory so you can walk out the door with them! We guarantee the lowest price with all our Acuvue contact lenses. If your prescription is not at our office, it may take less than a week to arrive. Our staff will also check your vision plan coverage. Most vision plans provide an annual allowance that may be used toward the cost of contact lenses or contact lens service fees. In other cases, insurance does not cover contacts at all. Regardless, our staff will help you maximize your insurance benefits!
A: Contact lenses even cosmetic ones are medical devices that need to be evaluated and fitted to be sure your corneas are healthy. We can fill any valid contact lens prescription. We are also Air Optix Aqua Color Advisors. Air Optix Color is the latest technology in colored contacts that are breathable and comfortable.
